Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026. Applies to the scorely.bet website and the Scorely app for Android.

Scorely is a live scores, statistics, news and community predictions service. Scorely does not take bets, does not process payments and has no real-money games. Community predictions only earn points and badges with no monetary value.

1. What we collect

• Analytics (Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager): only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. It records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate country or city and where you came from. Google acts as our processor.
• Account (optional): email, username, name, password stored as a hash and account type (user or tipster). If you use it, also your predictions, votes, favourites, followed tipsters, points and badges. A technical cookie (sc_sess) keeps you signed in.
• Push alerts (optional): if you turn them on, we store your browser or phone's technical push subscription (push service address and keys) and the teams you follow, to alert you at kick-off, on goals and at full time.
• Technical and security data: your IP address is used on the fly to rate-limit abuse and is processed by Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site.

We do not ask for location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The Android app opens the Scorely website full screen in Chrome and only asks for notification permission if you turn alerts on.

2. Why we use it

• To provide the service and keep your account, predictions and ranking.
• To send the alerts you turned on.
• To measure which sections are used and improve them.
• To protect the service from abuse.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their advertising.

3. Legal basis

Your consent for analytics and push alerts (you can withdraw it at any time), performance of the service you request for the account, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

4. How long we keep it

• Account and its activity: for as long as the account exists. Deleting it removes them.
• Push subscription: until you turn alerts off or the subscription expires.
• Analytics: up to 14 months, the maximum in the standard version of Google Analytics 4.

5. Links to operators

Some pages link to licensed bookmakers. When you follow one of those links you leave Scorely and that operator's privacy policy applies. Scorely does not send them your account data.

6. Minors

Scorely is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for minors. If you believe a minor has opened an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights and how to delete your account

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability of your data. To delete your account and all of its data (predictions, votes, favourites, follows, points, badges and push subscriptions), email [email protected] from the account's email address with your username. We delete it within 30 days at most and confirm it to you. To stop alerts, just turn them off in Scorely or in your phone's notification settings.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country (in the UK, the ICO).
